Empowering Entrepreneurs

The Small Business Initiative is our flagship program dedicated to elevating vulnerable women from dependency to self-reliance. We cover the entire entrepreneurial journey:

  • Market Assessment:Identifying viable business ideas within the camp and surrounding community.
  • Financial Literacy: Comprehensive training in budgeting, pricing, and profit management.
  • Seed Capital/Micro-Loans: Facilitating access to initial capital to start the business.
  • Mentorship: Ongoing support and coaching from experienced business mentors.

**Goal:** To establish at least 50 sustainable, woman-led businesses annually, significantly boosting household stability and community resilience in Kakuma.
